ReConnect’s Refugee Week Event in Association with UCL

Organised by ReConnect and UCL Institute of Education as part of the commemoration of World Refugee Week

Join us at our free Refugee Week Event.

Support Refugees into Higher Education/Teaching

• to recognise the achievements of refugee students who completed the Preparation for Higher Education Programme

• to raise awareness about the barriers faced by refugees in accessing Higher

• Education & the work of ReConnect to address some of these barriers

• Speakers include students & alumni from the programme, teachers with refugee background, the programme leader at UCL IOE, the Director of ReConnect

• Poetry & songs by refugees

• A live performance by the Ethiopian band Krar Collective https://www.krarcollective.com/
